Crews Respond to Residential Fire

(Fargo, ND) -- Everyone is okay after a residential fire in Fargo Wednesday afternoon.

The Fargo Fire Department says that at 3:08 p.m, firefighters were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from under a trailer house located at 1212 Monte Carlo Dr. N. Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire underneath the trailer house. Crews were able to quickly extinguish it.

Both occupants of the home were able to evacuate safely with three of their dogs. Fire crews did safely remove one dog from the home. There were no injuries.

Both tenants were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross with temporary shelter. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. A damage estimate is not yet available.
