(Fargo, ND)--The man who forced a Fargo neighborhood to shelter in place during an hours long standoff won't face charges. The Cass County States Attorneys Office says charges against Kerry Knutson have been dropped and the case has been closed.
The incident occurred on the evening of Oct. 5. Police say Knutson fired shots out of a north Fargo home while a woman and child were inside.
We are working on finding out more details on why the charges were dropped.
