(Moorhead, MN)-- A reminder from one Fargo-Moorhead resident to check your children's Halloween treats before they bite in, after one family found a staple lodged inside a piece of candy.
It is not confirmed whether or not the staple was intentionally placed there but either way it is concerning and parents are encouraged to make sure the treats are safe for consumption. The candy was picked up somewhere along the route of both 8th street in Fargo and South Moorhead, near Horizon Middle School.
The resident said, "I just wanted everyone to be aware! I hope everyone checks their candy!"
