(Fargo, ND) -- In the wake of Sanford and Essentia releasing their guidelines for getting kids ages 5-11 vaccinated, Fargo Cass Public Health has also released what their plans are.

"Currently, our plan is to provide COVID-19 vaccine for the 5-11 age group by appointment in our Immunization Clinic," said FCPH Public Information Officer Holly Scott in a statement released to WDAY Radio. "This system allows our staff to provide more one-on-one care for both the parent or guardian and the child receiving vaccine."

Appointments can be made by calling Fargo Cass Public Health at (701) 241-1383. Scott adds that FCPH is also encouraging parents to contact their child’s primary healthcare provider or local pharmacy to ask about vaccine opportunities for this age group.
