(Climax, MN) -- We're learning more about a fatal crash that happened in Polk County Wednesday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says two 21-year-old Bemidji women died after a crash in Vineland Township. Authorities say the women were traveling southbound on Highway 75 near 350th street when the SUV being driven veered off the roadway and hit a nearby culvert.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office, Crookston Police and area ambulance and Climax Fire Department all responded to the scene.
The driver and passenger expected to be identified sometime next week.
