One hospitalized after Grand Forks apartment fire

(Grand Forks, ND) -- One person is hospitalized after a kitchen fire at an apartment in Grand Forks.  

The blaze broke out Sunday morning and was put out by the time firefighters arrived. Crews reported heavy smoke coming from the third floor.  

The fire caused minor damage to the kitchen cabinets, and the smoke eventually cleared. The blaze is under investigation.
