Former UND student facing wire fraud charges in COVID funding case

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A former University of North Dakota is facing wire fraud charges related to theft from the federal Paycheck Protection Program loan fund.  

Enroy Duncan has been indicted for allegedly creating a scheme to defraud the federal government by filing a false PPP loan application for his company based in Colorado.  

Duncan allegedly used an intermediary company to obtain more than 339-thousand of PPP funds. He was arrested in Florida on November 17th.
