(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Public Schools (FPS) is looking to either match or break last year's record of more than 200 donations to its annual Meal Basket Program.

Individuals, businesses, community organizers and teams across the region are invited to assist in providing 200 meal baskets. The baskets will be distributed to families of elementary, middle and high school students in FPS before winter break begins.

The meal baskets provide enough food to feed a family of four with a little extra to spare. The baskets include a ham, turkey, or whole chicken; five pounds of potatoes; two cans of corn; a dozen dinner rolls; two packets of brown gravy mix; a pie; whipped topping; a loaf of bread; peanut butter; jelly; and macaroni and cheese.
