(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Public Schools is looking for parents, staff and community members to take part in the 2022 State of the Schools address and public focus group.

The goal of the group is to offer recommendations for improving the district's strategic plan, which was approved by the Fargo School Board in June 2015. The plan is updated annually, and is the district's way to try and connect with its stakeholders.

According to Fargo Schools District Spokeswoman AnnMarie Campbell, questions that will be given to the focus group include:

  • What conditions have changed since the strategic plan was written in 2014 that should be considered for potential updates?
  • Do the mission statement and strategic goals continue to express the district's vision of schools?
  • Has anything been learned from implementation efforts that would require modifications to the strategic plan?
  • What is missing from the current strategic plan that should be included and reviewed?

You can find out how to register to be a part of the focus group by clicking here, or calling (701) 446-1005.

Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi will deliver the state of the schools address on January 13th at Fargo South High School.
