Cass County Sheriff: Visibility okay, Roadways still slippery

(Fargo, ND) -- After a wild weekend of winter weather, roadways in Cass County are still a bit slick headed into your Monday.

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner told WDAY Radio's Bonnie and Friends conditions remain slippery, at best.

"The biggest problem we saw during the storms were decreased visibility for drivers," said Jahner. "I saw a lot of cars just off the side of the road because drivers just couldn't see."

Sheriff Jahner added that deputies and other emergency personnel responded to several crashes over the past 48 hours, but luckily none resulted in any serious injuries. He does add though that giving yourself extra time during your morning and evening commutes will be important as county crews continue to plow and clear roadways.
