(Bismarck, N.D.) -- The North Dakota University System is now offering intercession courses in a move aimed reducing the amount of time it takes students to complete degrees. The school will be offering courses during the upcoming winter break, to allow students to complete courses during the time period between the fall and spring semester.  The intercession courses allow students to meet requirements for graduation sooner, repeat courses, or explore new topics.

An intersession is a shortened course that takes place in the three weeks between the fall and spring semesters. Intersession classes condense what is usually a full semester class into a much shorter timeframe. Intersession courses are available online and are also open to students from other colleges and universities. Courses are also transferrable to other academic institutions.

Students are not limited to courses offered through their current enrolled institution. Use the link below to see the entire list of course offerings during the upcoming intersession, to enroll, or find additional information.
