(Casselton, ND) -- A pickup driver is being cited after a crash at a Casselton railroad crossing.
The crash happened just before noon Thursday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 44-year-old Trevor Altman was cited for not stopping at a railroad crossing.
Altman says he didn't see the oncoming train, stop arm or flashing red lights while traveling down Highway 18. His pickup was nearly totaled, and had to be towed from the scene.
The Fargo man was not hurt.
