(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks School Board is reaffirming its commitment to replacing Valley Middle School.
The affirmation was not a formal action, but board members gave assistant superintendent Brenda Lewis a thumbs up on the project during a two hour work session focused on a budget realignment process.
Voters have previously rejected a proposal to integrate two north end elementary schools into one campus with Valley at its site. The board also discussed issues related to the building of the Career Impact Academy, with construction getting underway in April 2023.
