(Fargo, ND) -- A south Fargo woman is recovering from carbon monoxide exposure after toxic levels of the gas were detected in her apartment complex.

The resident says she attempted to talk with property management on Monday because of beeping noises coming from the first and second floors but received no response. On Wednesday, she was evacuated from the building due to high carbon monoxide levels.

Two women next door also were evacuated.

Authorities say the high levels of carbon monoxide were caused by the boiler room in the building.
