(Fargo, ND) -- The 'big three' of school districts in the F-M area have announced closures amidst a snow storm headed to the area.

Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead schools all announcing Thursday evening they are canceling in-person class, along with before and after-school activities in the wake of severe winter weather bearing down on the region.

Both Moorhead and West Fargo students will have to complete the school day from home via the e-learning format, while Fargo Public School students will have a storm makeup day set for Monday, May 16th.

Some projections have as much as 7-9" of snow falling on Friday alone in parts of the Red River Valley. Be sure to stay locked in to WDAY Radio for further school closure and weather updates.
