Valley City fire victim identified

(Valley City, ND) -- The victim in a Valley City fire is being identified as 65-year-old Anthony Mitchell.  

Authorities say the blaze broke out early Sunday morning at a home on Second Street near Ninth Avenue Southeast. Mitchell was found dead in a lower level of the home. No other injuries were reported.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
