Grand Forks Police looking for missing man

(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Anthony Valdez.

GFPD says Valdez was last seen on February 6th in the downtown area by Level 10 wearing a green winter jacket with a fur lined hood and a black baseball hat.

Additionally, the department is are asking Grand Forks citizens to check their property paying extra attention to areas of shelter such as garages, sheds, gazebos, RVs and parked vehicles. Specific areas of interest would be north from the downtown area
between N. 3 rd St. and N. 5 th St., extending to Gateway Dr.

"Our efforts to locate Valdez are ongoing and officers will be completing a search of the Greenway today. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department as soon as possible," said Grand Forks Police Leitenant Jeremy Moe in a statement to WDAY Radio.
