(West Fargo, ND) -- The West Fargo City Commission, along with the city's library board, are set to hold a meeting Thursday about a future possible location for the West Fargo Public Library.

"This is really just a great opportunity to start to find out next step," said City Commissioner and Library Board member Mandy George, who spoke with WDAY Radio's Bonnie and Friends.

Some ideas that have been floated around include a multi-use city owned building that could house a new West Fargo City hall and the library, while another option could be a privately owned building with the city leasing space inside on a first or second floor.

"I've actually had talks with a private developer about this," said George. "It's an idea that I'm really excited about. We definitely want to hear from the community as plans start to take shape."

The meeting takes place Thursday, February 10th at 3pm inside West Fargo City Hall.
