(Grand Forks, ND) -- An unfortunate update to a story WDAY Radio first brought to you Thursday afternoon.
The Grand Forks Police Department has confirmed that at approximately 12:15 pm Thursday, a body, subsequently identified as that of 26-year-old Anthony Valdez, was discovered in the alley of 10 block N. 3rd St. The
circumstances behind the death of Valdez are under active investigation.
Authorities says there were no obvious signs of trauma to Valdez; however, the investigation is ongoing and a cause of death has not yet been determined. Valdez had been missing since Sunday.
