(Fargo, ND) -- Counseling professionals around the country and in the Red River Valley say there aren't enough counselors to keep up with demand.
"We can't hire counselors fast enough. As soon as we hire them, their schedules fill up. The thing we really hate is to have a waiting list," said Dan Borsheim, Mission Ambassador for Valley Christian Counseling Center in Fargo.
While appearing on the Chris Berg Show on AM 1100 the Flag, Borsheim said demand for services has been spiking ever since the first cases of Covid-19 were reported.
Borsheim says issues they're seeing among clients include teacher burnout, and divisions in family members among those who are pro Covid-19 vaccine and those who are against taking the jab.
