(Fargo, ND) -- Issues with 9-1-1 service across of much of western North Dakota are being linked to issues with a third-party telecom provider.
The problems were traced to technology issues at a Fargo facility. The western part of the state experiences widespread outages Tuesday, with the problems resolved by that night.
The situation impacted emergency and other calls in areas including Bismarck-Mandan and Minot.
