(Fargo, ND) -- More change and growth is coming to the Downtown Fargo Riverfront, courtesy of EPIC companies.
After years of trying to purchase the land on 2nd street south, EPIC was approved by the Fargo City Commission this past week to begin design and plans on the land, something EPIC says has been a long time coming.
"We're just so excited, and really completes the whole development for us," said Vice President of Communications McKenzy Braaten in a one-on-one interview with WDAY Midday. "We have Gateway by EPIC that opened this past fall on Main avenue, behind that is the Arch that will have things like commercial space and condos."
Braaten says as for the plans for what EPIC is calling the property, 'Unite', that includes plenty of amenities that should make folks in Fargo excited.
"Plaza green space on the backside facing the river so that the whole area can come together and use that. It will be a great space and a great gateway between the Fargo and Moorhead communities."
Plans also include several condos, commercial space and plenty of parking.
