Biden Won't Talk To Parents Of Ex-Marine Held In Russia

(Fort Worth, TX) -- President Joe Biden will not be meeting with the parents of a former Marine being held in Russia.  A spokesperson for Trevor Reed's family says the White House declined their request to meet tomorrow when Biden visits North Texas. Reed's parents are planning to demonstrate outside where the President is scheduled to speak in Fort Worth.  He was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2020 after being convicted of assault on a police officer.  Secretary of State Antony Blinken argued for Reed's release last year.
