(Moorhead, MN) -- The last of a group of mass-released parakeets has a forever home.
A man released dozens of Budgies nearly a year ago near a Moorhead Country Club and later surrendered over 20 more birds and unhatched eggs to a West Fargo bird shelter. The Center for Avian Adoption and Rescue said Thursday that they were able to place the last nine budgies over the weekend.
The man who released the birds left the country, so will not be facing charges.
