The Fargo Police Department says that at 10:03 p.m. a southbound 2011 Infiniti QX4 driven by 18-year-old Mason Bunnis and a Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by 21-year-old  Elijah Fields, collided in the 4400 block of 45th Street South. The collision resulted in the motorcyclist being trapped under the vehicle and drug for nearly one City block.

Authorities say eventually others driving on 45th street south stopped to help lift the vehicle off of the motorcyclist, right before it caught on fire.

Bunnis, along with his two passengers, were not injured.

During the investigation, it was learned that the crash occurred with many other vehicles present. Any potential witnesses or persons that assisted at the crash scene are asked to contact the NDHP at (701) 328-2447 with any information they have.
