(Bismarck, ND) -- A new champion will move on to the National Spelling Bee after winning the North Dakota state bee.
Nearly 100 students gathered for the state bee Monday at the Bismarck Event Center. Sixth Grader Luna Gasevic from Ben Franklin Middle School in Cass County won the bee by spelling tuberculosis correctly.
Seventh grader Chimney Gopi from the same school is the runner-up.
