Crews respond to sizeable garage fire at South Fargo apartment complex

(Fargo, ND) -- WDAY News First has learned that Fargo Fire crews responded to a two-alarm blaze at the Autumn Brook Apartments off 17th avenue south, just Southwest of West Acres mall.

Fargo Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson tells us calls came in for the fire a little after 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. All of the damage was contained to the garage structure at the complex that contains 15 total garages.

"A few were essentially burned to the ground," said Erickson. "There were no injuries, and we're still working on a cause for the fire."

Damage estimates have not yet been released.
