(Fargo, ND) -- With only three days to spare, one member of the Fargo Park District's Board has announced he will run for re-election.

Joe Deutsch, who has served with the board for roughly 16 years, announced officially Thursday evening he will run again for his seat.

"If re-elected, I look forward to helping our staff see the Fargo Sports Complex and Island Park Master Plan through to the finish," said Deutsch in a Facebook post to his supporters. "The city footprint has tripled since I was first elected, so our continued and sustainable growth is very important."

Deutsch, as of Friday, is the only incumbent running for re-election. Both of his colleagues, Stacey Griggs and Vicki Dawson, have yet to file paperwork for re-election.

One other candidate, Owner of Jim's Building Services LLC Jim Frueh, has announced his intention to run for the board.

The deadline to file is Monday, April 11th.
