Exclusive: City of West Fargo Communications Director Melissa Richard talks new resident Mobile App

(West Fargo, ND) -- We're getting more clarification on what the resident mobile app for West Fargo would look like.

City Communications Director Melissa Richard says the app is a by-product of the city's website.

"What we've heard from our residents is that they're happy with what we've done to this point," said Richard on WDAY Midday. "They expect us to do these kind of bold innovative things, and it made sense to do something like this to reach as many people as we can."

Richard says everything from paying utility bills to community news would be available on the app, which is in testing right now to work out the bugs. The hope is to launch the mobile app by the end of April.
