UPDATE (9:41a.m.) -- The situation has been resolved, and two suspects are in custody. Their identities are not known at this time.

Original story:

(Fargo, ND) -- The Red River Valley SWAT Team is assisting the Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit with a high-risk, knock-and-announce search warrant at the 900 block of 26th St. N.

A perimeter has been set up around a house and a suspect is believed to be inside. The SWAT Team utilized a Flash Sound Diversionary Device to create a loud bang and bright flash of light. The use of an FSDD is intended to create a distraction for the suspects to allow the officers to perform tasks that may put them in danger, unbeknownst to the suspects.

Authorities are asking residents to remain clear of the area as work continues. No further information is available at this time.
