Moorhead to host multiple volunteer events for "Celebrate Earth Week"

(Moorhead, MN) -- The Moorhead City Council is looking for volunteers for multiple events.

Between April 18th through the 22nd, The City of Moorhead is looking to clean up several city parks. Moorhead City Council members, the City Sustainability Coordinator, and Forestry staff will be removing buckthorn, picking up litter, and are generally looking to improve the health of the city. 

If you plan to attend the cleanup events, the city recommends wearing waterproof boots and sturdy gloves. Cloth gloves, pickers, vests, and garbage bags will be provided.
