South Fargo Fire leaves one resident homeless

(Fargo, ND) -- An estimated $25,000 in damage caused by an apartment fire is leaving one person homeless.

The Fargo Department responded to south 40th street around 1 a.m this morning and found smoke pouring from the building. The fire was taken care of quickly, but officials say the kitchen fire caused roughly $25,000 in damage. 

The tenant was not injured in the blaze.
