F-M area "Clean Up Days" to begin Monday

(WDAY) -- Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead are starting in their yearly clean up projects beginning next week.

Fargo:

On resident's recycling collection day, the city is collecting tires, appliances, and other large items, free of charge. 

The city asks for items to be placed on the boulevard before 7 a.m on resident's scheduled days. Items must be from residences; no commercial waste will be accepted. Keep household garbage at least four feet away from other Cleanup Week items.

West Fargo: 

The city is collecting household waste and other large items at no charge. 

West Fargo officials say they will not accept household hazardous materials, yard waste or compost, and electronics.

Moorhead: 

Furniture, household goods, and appliances will be collected at single-family residence curbs beginning at 5 a.m, free of charge.

Moorhead officials say the days will be scheduled on opposite weeks from current recycling weeks...

- If you are Recycling A Week, Cleanup Days are May 2-6.

- If you are Recycling B Week, Cleanup Days are May 9-13.

- Oakport neighborhood, Cleanup Day is May 3.
