(Fargo, ND) -- A man is in custody after a perimeter was formed by Fargo Police.
The Department says that around 2:30 a.m. Monday, officers attempted to pull over Chad Bernie for a report of a stolen vehicle near the Walmart on 13th avenue south. The 34-year-old would not pull over and surrender to police, which led to several other agencies assisting and using stop sticks to catch Bernie. He was arrested for fleeing, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of meth and meth paraphernalia and driving under the influence and with a suspended license.
Fargo Police do tell WDAY Radio that the damage to the vehicle itself was considered minor, and it has been returned to its owner.
