(Tower City, ND) -- A semi driver hauling propane is ok after a tire on his vehicle caught fire on I-94.
The tire fire broke out just before noon Wednesday as the semi was headed east on I-94 west of Tower City. The driver used an extinguisher, but was unable to keep the fire out.
The Barnes County Fire Department responded and put out the blaze. The truck was extensively damaged in the rear area, but no propane leaked or caught fire.
The incident is under investigation.
