(Fargo, ND) -- The restaurant where a mom and her 8-month-old baby were shot has said it will reopen Friday.

Plaza Azteca took to social media to make the announcement about the status of the business, and when it would welcome customers back.

"We will be opening back on Friday," said the business on Facebook late Thursday morning. "We would like to take a day off for the victims and for our employees after this unfortunate incident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and anyone affected by this.Thank you all for your understanding and all your support."

Employees at the business were visibly distraught after the shooting took place early Wednesday afternoon, that resulted in a chase into rural Clay County.

In a later Facebook post, Plaza Azteca said they will be donating 50% of their sales to the shooting victims.
