(Moorhead, MN) -- After several decades of glitz, glamour and fine cuisine and spirits, a staple in the Moorhead restaurant community is shutting its doors in a matter of days.
The Speak Easy Restaurant and Lounge, located just south of I-94 off 30th avenue south, took to social media Wednesday evening to make the announcement they will be closing their doors Sunday, May 29th for good.
"Come one, come all to enjoy your favorite menu item, favorite drink or favorite employee this weekend, It will be our last weekend," said the business on its Facebook page. "Thank you to everyone who has supported The Speak Easy through the years, we will miss you all."
It is not clear yet why the restaurant is closing, but a dwindling staff, as well as supply chain issues are likely near the top of the list as to why the business is shutting their doors after 45 years of service in the community.
