(Fargo, ND) -- A Wydmere man is dead after a crash in Richland County late Saturday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 45-year-old was headed westbound on Highway 11 near mile marker 159 between Lidgerwood and Hankinson on this motorcycle when he slowed to turn onto Richland County Road 3. That is when the motorcycle was rear-ended by a truck driven by 41-year-old Roberto Corona Equiza.
The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from it, dying from his injuries. Equiza was found several hours later by troopers and the Richland County Sheriff's Office, and charges are pending.
The crash remains under investigation.
