(Minot, ND) -- District 3's House GOP primary is slated for a recount following a single vote separated two candidates.

The Secretary of State's website talks about the three candidates in the race. The first place candidate is Minot realtor Lori Vanwinkle, who got 788 votes. The contention follows incumbent Jeff Hoverson and challenger Roscoe Streyle, who's totals are separated by a single vote. Hoverson received a total of 617 votes, and Streyle got 616.

The two top candidates will move onto the general election in November.
