(Fargo, ND) -- The President of a local construction company joined WDAY Midday to say a home will be changing locations and will slow traffic on several roads South Fargo.
Bob Schmidt is the President of Schmidt and Sons Building Movers. He says the home was built by South Fargo students through a program offered by the district.
"Fargo South, Davies, North High, they all have educational programs to get them involved, "said Schmidt, "Get them out in the shop, give them real world experience."
Schmidt says students who participate in the programs are often offered part time positions within his company, saying it is a great way to find potential long-term employees. Schmidt says the rambler style house, measuring 33 feet wide and 60 feet long, will begin its move around 8:30 a.m,. Schmidt asks residents to avoid 25th street if possible between 9-11 a.m.
