(Moorhead, MN) -- A shop in Moorhead is reporting brisk sales of THC edibles, after a new law allowing the sale of the products in Minnesota went into effect July 1st.

"It's legal so you can get over that whole stigma of buying stuff on the street or in a parking lot. No one needs to do that stuff anymore. It's made clean and local by a good group of people,"

Cody Townsend, part owner of Northland Vapor and CBD says sales of THC edibles now account for roughly 25 percent of his business. He says the products are popular with people looking for relief for various physical ailments and for stress relief. THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, which Townsend and others say is non-addictive. To buy in Minnesota people must be 21 and over.
