(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Public Library is inviting you to a special meeting to talk about its future.

"The Fargo community is growing and always changing as is the Fargo Public Library," said library officials in a statement released to WDAY Radio Tuesday. "With Fargo’s growth and the future in mind, the Library is hosting a community input session as part of developing a facilities master plan."

The Library says residents are invited to share their thoughts, ideas, and dreams for the Fargo Public Library and its facilities regarding improvements, outreach efforts, and service offerings in a meeting to be held next week. The meeting is open house-style, and the public is encouraged to attend to ask questions and share ideas.

The facilities master plan will provide a summary of ideas, priorities, and opportunities as a guiding document for the Fargo Public Library to coordinate facility improvements, current operations, and service developments for the next decade.

Library staff and representatives from JLG Architects will be on hand during the open house to answer any questions regarding the Library’s facilities plan project.

The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 15th in the Community Room at the Downtown Fargo main library location.
