(Cass County, ND) -- The Cass County Finance Office has confirmed to WDAY Radio that absentee ballots for the General Election in November are being mailed this week to voters who have previously applied for a ballot.

October 16th is the last day that the Finance Office suggests returning an application via mail; after this date, voters can deposit the application in the secure drop box located outside of the County Courthouse. Those who use this form of voting are asked to please put applications into an envelope labeled “Finance Office” before submitting into the drop box.

If you applied for an absentee ballot, but has not received a ballot by October 12th, you're asked to please contact the Finance Office to make sure one is being delivered. October 30th is the last day that ballots will be mailed to voters.

Voters can expect to find ballots in mailboxes by the end of this week or at some point next week.

You're asked to please contact the Finance Office at (701) 241-5600 with any questions regarding the upcoming election.
