Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach on fentanyl: "it's going all over the country and killing Americans"

(Fargo, ND) -- Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach is talking about security along the southern border, saying something needs to be done to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and fentanyl into the United States.

"The fentanyl that is coming through is just incredible, and when you say every district is a border district, it is. Because the fentanyl is here. Fentanyl is in Minnesota. Even though it is coming across the southern border, it's going all over the country and killing Americans. What is it, 18 to 45 is the leading cause of death right now is fentanyl overdoses," said Fischbach.

Fischbach, who is running for re-election, says republicans will take steps to secure the southern border if they take control of the House in November.

The representative also criticized the $800 billion "Inflation Reduction Act", saying spending in that package and other spending by congress is making inflation worse.
