Two arrested for narcotics possession, warrants in Moorhead

(Moorhead, MN) -- Two people are in custody after Moorhead Police responded to what is described as a "rolling disturbance" early Friday morning.

The Department tells WDAY Radio they responded to the area of I-94 and 20th street around 2:30 a.m. after someone called in that a vehicle had possibly been shot at.

After initiating the traffic stop, 27-year-old Abigail Ramirez and 41-year-old Dustin Grinder were arrested. Ramirez was taken into custody for open warrants and possession of narcotics, while Grinder for narcotics possession and for having a facsimile firearm.

Preliminary information indicated the disturbance originated at the Baymont Inn and Suites in the City of Fargo. Fargo Police were requested to search that area for any evidence and investigate any criminal activity that occurred within their jurisdiction.

Both are being held in the Clay County Jail.
