Activities and Events for Veteran's Day in Fargo-Moorhead

(Fargo, ND) -- As the winter weather moves out of the FM Metro, Veteran's Day celebrations are taking center stage.

Below is a list of activities happening throughout Fargo-Moorhead Friday. They include:

  • Veterans Day program at the Fargo Air museum at 11:00am
  • Fargo VFW, and Fargo American Legion will be joining together this year. Stew at lunchtime, Red River Valley Veterans concert Band at 2:00pm. Post 762 Activities will continue throughout the afternoon.
  • American Legion Moorhead -- 12:00 PM Stew / 3:30pm -- Red River Valley Veterans concert band. Activities throughout the Day. 
  • Dilworth VFW- Stew at 4pm and Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band at 5pm. 
  • AMVET’s Post #7 will serve SOS (stuff on a shingle) at 12pm and festivities throughout the afternoon and evening.
  • West Fargo VFW Post 7564 are hosting their annual Veterans Day program which is open to the public of all ages at the VFW Club, West Fargo. Veterans Day activities start with a flag raising ceremony on the POW-MIA Plaza in front of the VFW Post on Sheyenne Street at 10:45am, followed by a program inside the Club at 11 am. The program will conclude with a rifle volley salute by the VFW Honor Guard and the playing of TAPS.
