(Detroit Lakes, MN) -- Black Friday means shopping for some, but at Detroit Mountain it meant skiing.

There was a large turnout at Detroit Mountain the day after Thanksgiving. The massive turnout was partly related to the closure of Frost Fire in North Dakota for the season because of malfunctioning snow machines.

Seven of the 12 runs at Detroit Mountain are open right now.
