West Fargo Fire Department to host annual awards ceremony

(West Fargo, ND) -- Some of West Fargo's finest are getting honored this week, and you are invited to stop by.

The West Fargo Fire Department is set to host its annual awards ceremony 7 p.m. Thursday, December 8th at the South Station, which is located at 445 29th Avenue West.

The public is invited to attend the awards ceremony to honor the various achievements of the fire department personnel over the past year. This year’s awards will include firefighter of the year, lifetime achievement, length of service awards and more.

“Our department looks forward to honoring those who have gone above and beyond in their service this past year,” said Fire Chief Dan Fuller in a statement released to WDAY Radio. “These awards showcase just a small portion of the dedication found in every member of the West Fargo Fire Department.”

The awards ceremony will also be available for viewing on the West Fargo Fire Department’s Facebook page. Light refreshments will be provided.
