(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo's newest fitness facility is preaching a message of no judgment and positivity ahead of their Grand Opening next week.
Crunch Fitness is new to Fargo and North Dakota, but the process to bring the New York-based facility to your doorstep, according to leadership with the fitness club, has been extremely rewarding.
"There’s so many pleasant people in this community, but also it’s been a lot of fun to set up a grassroots marketing campaigns really interacting with local businesses in the area making everyone fully aware of the crunch fitness brand and who were all about which is that no judgments,no limits philosophy," said Pre-Sale Manager Taylor Warrick while speaking to WDAY Radio during the club's special sign-up event Thursday.
The facility, which is located in the old Toys R Us building off 13th avenue south near the Walmart, features over 30,000 square feet of cardio equipment, weights, special rooms from group exercise and fitness classes, full locker rooms with saunas inside, tanning beds, hydro massage chairs and even a kids corner daycare where you can bring the kids to get in a good sweat.
But, the question remains from the business that has over 400 locations in six different countries, why come to Fargo?
"What we look for in a market, so obviously there’s a bunch of universities around here, but Fargo is growing right and so even is Moorhead at this point," said Warrick, who is based in South Carolina but has been staying the FM Metro for the past few months to help open and launch the new club. "This is an up-and-coming community and we see a lot of potential for this market, but also we've noticed that in this area everybody wants to get into fitness."
Pre-Sale activities do remain through the Grand Opening of the club, which takes place Friday, January 13th.
