(Fargo, ND) -- Injuries are expected to be minor following a crash that involved a car slamming into a storefront in a South Fargo strip mall Sunday evening.

The Fargo Fire Department tells WDAY Radio that the crash happened around 5:50 p.m. at the Hallmark inside the strip mall located near the intersection of 25th street south and 32nd avenue south.

The driver of the car that entered the store was treated by FM Ambulance for minor injuries after suffering what the Fargo Police Department tells us was a 'medical episode'.

"I guess the good news is too that there is no structural damage to the building," said Battalion Chief Dane Carley. "Now we're just working with the owners to get the car out and the front boarded up."

Fargo Police add that the driver of the second car involved struck a support pillar of the building, but again just minor damages occurred.

At this time it is unclear if any charges will come. Stick with WDAY Radio for more on this story as it develops.
